General Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to all users and customers accessing or ordering services via 4hosting.net.

If documents conflict, the Service Agreement governs technical/SLA matters and the Privacy Policy governs personal data processing.

2. Account and Eligibility

• You must have legal capacity to contract.
• You are responsible for account credential security and account activity.
• Information you provide must be accurate and up to date.

3. Services, Orders and Payments

• Service features are those shown at order time.
• Pricing, taxes and billing periods are presented at checkout/proposal stage.
• Non-payment may result in suspension/termination according to the Service Agreement.
• Plan upgrades. You may upgrade to a higher-priced plan at any time from your account panel. The upgrade takes effect immediately: the features and limits of the new plan are activated as soon as the upgrade is confirmed. When you upgrade you pay the full price of the new plan for the current billing interval, less the unused value of your current plan, calculated pro rata for the days remaining in the cycle, according to the formula: price of the new plan − (price of the current plan × days remaining ÷ total days of the current billing cycle). Your renewal date does not change; starting with the next renewal, the subscription is billed at the full price of the new plan. The amount due at upgrade is collected at the time of the upgrade through the subscription's payment method (saved card, or bank transfer against a proforma invoice).
• If the upgrade changes your billing interval (for example from monthly to annual), the new subscription starts at the time of the upgrade and the unused value of the remaining period is deducted from the first invoice as an internal service credit on your account, applied until it is used up. Service credit is not money: it has no cash value, is non-refundable and non-transferable, and cannot be paid out, consistent with the non-refundable nature of fees under this section. Switching to a lower-priced plan (downgrade) involves no payment and no refund: the unused value of your current plan is converted into additional days at the new price, and your renewal date is extended accordingly.

4. Acceptable Use

• No illegal, abusive, or security-threatening use.
• No spam, phishing, malware, unauthorized access or unauthorized scanning.
• Provider may suspend services immediately in case of major risk.

5. Data, Privacy and Cookies

Personal data is processed according to the Privacy Policy.

Cookies and similar technologies are handled according to legal notices and consent settings.

6. Intellectual Property

Platform code, design, trademarks and content belong to SPECIAL SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SRL or licensors.

Customer retains rights to customer-uploaded content.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, provider is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or data loss.

Nothing limits liability where limitation is prohibited by law.

8. Updates, Governing Law and Contact

Terms may be updated; the current version is published on 4hosting.net.
