VPS hosting prices in Montenegro in EUR: what you pay and what is included

A practical price guide for Montenegrin businesses and developers choosing a VPS. Prices read from the live catalogue on 30.09.2026.

Short answer

  1. 14hosting bills in euros outside Romania, so a Montenegrin company pays in EUR with no currency conversion on the invoice.
  2. 2According to the live catalogue read on 30 September 2026, VPS plans run from EUR 10 per month (VPS 2G) to EUR 1,320 per month (VPS 192G).
  3. 3Every VPS plan includes root access, NVMe storage and a monthly allowance of DevOps hours, from 1 hour on the smallest plan to 8 hours on the largest.
  4. 4The servers are in Frankfurt, not in Montenegro, so traffic travels to the EU.

The catalogue also offers a cheaper billing option when you pay yearly; the pricing page shows the exact terms. We do not quote hourly rates for work beyond the included hours.

What is included beyond the price

Each VPS comes with root access, NVMe storage and a setup ready for Docker and Kubernetes. The included DevOps hours are a service, not a feature of the machine: you request them from the client panel, propose a date, and the team delivers.

The hours reset on the calendar month and do not roll over. If you need more than the allowance, the extra work is accepted and billed separately.

Location: Frankfurt, not Montenegro

4hosting runs datacentres in the European Union, in Frankfurt. There is no datacentre in Montenegro. For websites and business applications this is usually acceptable, and latency from Montenegro to a European datacentre is low in qualitative terms. We do not publish measured figures, so test from your own connection before moving a production system.

Three typical situations

Small company website with a booking form

A tour agency or a restaurant in the coastal towns runs one website and a small database. The smaller plans in the table are the natural starting point, and a move to the next plan is a change of tier rather than a new migration.

Web shop with a separate staging copy

A retailer wants production and a test copy side by side. Two smaller VPS plans are often easier to reason about than one large plan, because a failed experiment on staging cannot take production down with it.

Software team with containers

A development team in Podgorica deploys containers with Docker. A mid-size plan gives root access and room for several services, and the included DevOps hours can be used for architecture and monitoring setup.

Common mistakes

  • Comparing only the monthly figure. Check RAM, disk and the included DevOps hours, because the same price buys different things at different providers.
  • Assuming the server is in Montenegro. Here it is in Frankfurt, and you should test the connection from your own network before you migrate.
  • Buying the largest plan to be safe. Start with the plan your workload needs and move up when measurements show you must.
  • Forgetting backups. A VPS gives you a server you administer, so you decide where copies are stored, and they should not live only on the same machine.
  • Treating a provider as a compliance certificate. Your own obligations as a data controller stay with you, whichever server you rent.

How 4hosting helps

  • VPS plans on NVMe storage with root access, ready for Docker and Kubernetes, and scalable to a larger plan.
  • Datacentres in the European Union, in Frankfurt, with a 10 Gbps symmetric network and L3/L4 DDoS protection included.
  • A monthly allowance of DevOps, CyberSecurity and Programming hours, requested from the client panel. Hours do not carry over, and work beyond the allowance is accepted and billed separately.
  • A data processing agreement (GDPR art. 28) and alignment with ISO 27001. This is alignment, not an ISO 27001 certificate, and 4hosting does not certify your compliance.
  • Free migration and support in English and Romanian.
