VPS hosting in Romania with NVMe and root access

Virtual servers on NVMe storage with full root access, ready for Docker and Kubernetes. Hosted in Frankfurt, with DevOps hours in every plan.

A VPS gives your application a server of its own to configure: NVMe storage, root access over SSH and room for whatever your stack needs. It suits APIs, SaaS back ends, queues, databases and anything that has outgrown shared hosting.

Typical Romanian set-ups: a payments API for a fintech in Bucharest, a logistics platform running its own PostgreSQL, an outsourcing team in Cluj-Napoca hosting client staging environments, or an online shop that needs more than PHP. Servers sit in Frankfurt, and every plan carries between 1 and 8 hours of DevOps work per month, depending on the plan.

Docker and Kubernetes ready

  • Run services as containers with Docker Compose, or step up to k3s or full Kubernetes when the architecture calls for it.
  • Keep each service in its own container, so one release never drags the rest of the stack along with it.
  • Roll new versions out gradually and roll back when something looks wrong.
  • A single VPS is enough for a small k3s cluster or a staging environment; several VPS or dedicated servers can form a production cluster.
  • Our DevOps team can write the Dockerfiles, manifests and pipeline for you, using your included hours.

NVMe storage

  • NVMe SSDs serve reads and writes with much lower latency than SATA disks.
  • Databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Redis benefit most: queries, index builds and restores finish sooner.
  • Disk-heavy jobs such as image processing, log ingestion and search indexing stop being the bottleneck.
  • Disk size grows with the plan, so a storage-heavy project can simply step up a tier.

Root access over SSH

  • Full control of the operating system: install any package, run your own web server and tune the settings your workload needs.
  • Use SSH keys and keep password login switched off.
  • Automate the server with the tools your team already knows, such as Ansible, Terraform or a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Run your own firewall rules, monitoring agents and backup jobs on top of what we provide.
  • Root access is also responsibility: patching and hardening are yours, and our CyberSecurity hours can help.

Scaling by plan upgrade

  • Start on the smallest plan that fits and move up a tier when load grows.
  • A bigger plan brings more vCPU, RAM and disk.
  • Take a snapshot before a risky change so you can return to a known state.
  • Capacity follows demand you can measure, not a guess made on day one.
  • When one VPS is no longer enough, move to a dedicated server or spread services across several VPS.

DevOps hours included

  • Every VPS plan includes between 1 and 8 hours per month of DevOps, CyberSecurity or programming work, depending on the plan.
  • Open a request in the client panel, under DevOps services, suggest a date and the team takes it from there.
  • Unused hours expire at the end of the calendar month. Extra hours are accepted and billed separately.
  • Good uses: a Docker or k3s set-up, a CI/CD pipeline, PostgreSQL tuning, a firewall review, backup and restore tests.

A server you own, a network we protect

  • L3/L4 DDoS protection is included on the network.
  • Spend your hours on the basics: SSH keys, firewall rules, a patching routine, secrets handling and backups.
  • Need a WAF in front of the application or a penetration test? Both are part of our CyberSecurity services.
  • Your data stays in the EU, and a GDPR data processing agreement under Article 28 is available.

Hosting for teams in Romania

  • Data centre in Frankfurt, inside the EU.
  • Support in English and Romanian.
  • Invoices show Romanian VAT on its own line; current plans and prices are on the pricing page.
  • Migration is free: we move your existing server or stack for you.

Common questions

  • Do I get root access? Yes, on every VPS.
  • Can I run Kubernetes on one VPS? Yes. A single-node k3s works for development, staging and small workloads. For high availability, spread the cluster over several servers; our DevOps team can design it.
  • Is a VPS fully managed? You administer the server. The included hours and our DevOps services cover the operational work you choose to hand over.
  • How is a VPS different from cPanel hosting? cPanel hosting is a ready-made panel for sites and mail. A VPS gives you the whole server to configure.
