Python, Django and FastAPI Development in Romania

Python programming · Romania

Python, Django and FastAPI development in Romania for teams that need APIs, automation or data services that keep running. We write the backend, the integrations and the pipelines, then run them on a Docker VPS or, for model workloads, on a GPU server. Included hours cover async migrations, packaging, tests and repeatable deployment.

  • Django for products, FastAPI for fast APIs
  • NVIDIA GPU servers for models and embeddings
  • Programming hours included from VPS up
  • VPS 1–8 h/month, dedicated 5–10 h (by plan), GPU servers 10 h

Django, FastAPI and Flask: where each one fits

Pick Django when you want a whole product: data model, admin panel, roles, templates and migrations in one framework. Pick FastAPI when the API contract is the product: validated types, generated OpenAPI documentation and async calls to slow upstream services. Flask stays useful for webhooks and small internal tools. Around them we add Celery for queues and scheduled jobs, connectors to ERP or invoicing systems, and pipelines that load clean data into PostgreSQL.

  • FastAPI services with OpenAPI docs, validation and rate limits
  • Django applications with admin, roles and versioned migrations
  • Celery jobs for imports, reports and scheduled automation
  • Inference and RAG services on GPU servers

Why Python belongs on a VPS, not on shared hosting

A Python service is a long-running process with workers, a reverse proxy and its own dependencies, which cPanel is not built for. We start from a VPS: root access, Docker, NVMe storage, one container per service, and PostgreSQL and Redis on a private network. When you bring your own models, the heavy part moves to an NVIDIA RTX PRO 4000 or RTX PRO 6000 server in the same EU facilities, so large files and embeddings never leave the region.

AI and RAG services with data kept in the EU

Many Romanian requests start as a chatbot or a search over internal documents. The Python side is the pipeline: text extraction, chunking, embeddings, indexing in a vector database and an answer layer with access control. Index and documents live on our servers in Frankfurt, and the embedding model can run locally on a GPU, so content does not go to a provider outside the EU. Processing is covered by a GDPR Article 28 agreement and standard contractual clauses.

Where the included hours go

You request hours from the DevOps Services section of the client panel and propose the deadline. On Python projects they most often pay for moving blocking code to async, packaging with pinned dependencies, adding tests where none exist, a major Django upgrade and a repeatable Docker deployment. The allowance is per calendar month and does not roll over; extra hours are accepted and billed separately by the hour.

Every plan includes monthly hours of DevOps, CyberSecurity and Programming work delivered by the 4hosting team: 1 h from cPanel Advanced upwards, 1–8 h on VPS, 5–10 h on dedicated servers depending on the plan, and 10 h on GPU servers. You request them from the client panel, unused hours are not carried into the next month, and extra hours are accepted and billed separately.

How we work

  1. Request in the panel

Open a request under DevOps Services, link the repository or describe the API, and propose the date that suits your release plan.

  2. Estimate in hours

We check the Python version, the dependencies and the existing data, then give you the effort in hours and the part your plan already covers.

  3. Build with tests

Code lands on its own branch with tests on the critical flows, and you receive a Docker image together with the environment configuration.

  4. Hand over and document

You get OpenAPI documentation, run instructions, database migrations, the rollback procedure and a report of the hours taken from the allowance.

Use cases

Payments team in Bucharest

A fintech exposes a FastAPI service for scoring and reconciliation, with rate limits, an audit log and PostgreSQL on a private network with no public port.

Automotive supplier in Timisoara

Sensor readings from the production line are cleaned by Celery workers and pushed to analytics, with an alert whenever a batch drifts out of tolerance.

Medical network in Cluj-Napoca

Internal protocols are indexed on a GPU server in Frankfurt and answered through a role-aware search, so none of the documents leave the EU.

Frequently asked questions

  • FastAPI or Django for a new API?

Django if you also need an admin panel, authentication and server-rendered pages without writing them from scratch. FastAPI if the API is what you sell: typed validation, generated docs and async I/O. Many projects combine both, with Django as the back-office and FastAPI for integrations.

  • Where can I host a Django application in Romania?

On a VPS with Docker in our Frankfurt facilities. You get root access, NVMe storage and a private network for PostgreSQL and Redis, and your plan includes monthly programming hours that you can spend on deployment, upgrades and tuning.

  • Can Python run on shared cPanel hosting?

Only occasional scripts. Django and FastAPI need a process that stays up, background workers and control over versions, which cPanel LAMP does not offer. We recommend a VPS from day one, and moving an existing application over is free of charge.

  • How do I deploy FastAPI with Docker and PostgreSQL?

We build a multi-stage image, run the app as an unprivileged user behind a reverse proxy that terminates TLS, and add health probes. PostgreSQL sits on a private network. Releases come from a pipeline, and the previous image stays available for a one-command rollback.

  • Can I build a RAG application and keep the data in the EU?

Yes. The vector database, the documents and the index sit on our servers in Frankfurt, and an embedding model can run locally on a GPU server. Nothing is sent to a provider outside the EU, and the processing is covered by an Article 28 agreement.

  • What happens if a request exceeds the included hours?

The work does not stop. Hours above the allowance are accepted and billed separately by the hour. We tell you in advance when a request will exceed the month's quota, so you can decide whether to split it across two months.

Need a Python backend that is deployed, not just written?

Describe the API or the automation. We estimate the effort in hours and show how much of it your plan already covers.
