Service Agreement

Date of entry into force: 20/09/2026

This agreement applies to the services ordered through 4hosting.net. It is drafted following the structure of hosting terms, and includes SLA clauses.

1. Subject matter and acceptance

By placing an order you accept this agreement; the contract is deemed concluded once the order has been confirmed.

The agreement covers hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, domains and related technical services.

2. Orders, invoicing and non-payment

  • Services are paid for in advance (monthly or annually), unless otherwise provided in writing.
  • Prices and package specifications may be updated for future periods.
  • Overdue invoices may lead to suspension after 5 days and to termination after 10 days from the due date.

3. Withdrawal and refunds

  • A withdrawal period of 14 days may exist, under the legislation applicable to consumers.
  • Once the service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal may be restricted, as provided by law.
  • Refund requests are submitted through the official support or invoicing channel.

4. SLA (service level)

The target availability is 100%, with the exception of planned maintenance.

  • The SLA does not cover unavailability caused by the customer, by suspensions, by force majeure or by third parties.
  • If monthly uptime falls below 99.9%, credits of 10% of the monthly fee may be granted for every 1% below the threshold, up to 100% of the monthly fee.
  • Credits are applied to future invoices, once support has verified the case.

5. Backups and customer responsibility

  • The customer is responsible for independent backup copies.
  • Backup services may be offered as an option, for a fee.
  • The provider is not liable for loss of data if the backup obligations are not observed.

6. Acceptable use and security

  • Illegal content, abuse, spam, phishing, malware and unauthorised scanning are prohibited.
  • Any use that degrades the shared infrastructure or endangers the platform is prohibited.
  • Serious abuse may lead to immediate suspension or termination.

7. Liability and limitations

Within the limits of the law, the provider is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including loss of profit or data).

Liability is not excluded where the law does not permit it to be excluded.

8. Contact and governing law

Legal contact: [email protected].

The agreement is governed by the law of Romania, subject to the mandatory protection afforded to consumers.
